A commercial roof is a budget line, not a bragging right.
What matters on a commercial building is straightforward: keep water out, keep your doors open while the work happens, and end up with a documented, warranted system that earns its lifecycle cost. That is how we scope and run every commercial job.
Husong Roofing Service has worked this corner since 1971. For a commercial owner that mostly means one thing: we are local and licensed in both states, so the roofer who assessed your building is the one accountable for it afterward.
Commercial roofs on both sides of the line
Clinics, churches and Main Street retail in Delaware County, Oklahoma and Benton County, Arkansas. These are our own jobs, photographed before and after.
Gentry Medical Clinic
Gentry, Arkansas
A working clinic in Benton County. Arkansas licensed work, scheduled so the doors stayed open.
Grove Dentist Office
Grove, Oklahoma
A Delaware County dental practice, replaced without shutting the office down.
Landmark Baptist Church
[[Confirm town and state]]
Churches mix steep and low-slope on one building, and the schedule has to work around services.
Low-slope and flat roofing options
Commercial roofs are chosen on slope, budget, and how the building is used. We will assess yours and recommend the system that fits, not the one that is easiest to sell. [[Confirm the systems below match what Husong actually installs and delete any that do not apply.]]
Single-Ply Membrane
TPO and EPDM
Heat-welded TPO and EPDM rubber membranes, the common workhorses of low-slope commercial. Reflective options can reduce cooling load, and both have long, proven track records.
Modified Bitumen
Multi-ply asphalt
A multi-ply, asphalt based membrane that holds up well on roofs that see foot traffic or need the redundancy of layered protection.
Commercial Metal
Standing-seam and structural
Metal systems for commercial buildings that want the longest service life, backed by the same metal capability we bring to shops and ag buildings.
Restoration Coatings
Silicone and acrylic
When a roof is sound but aging, a coating system can seal leaks and add years, often for a fraction of a full tear-off. We will tell you honestly when it is the right call and when it is not.
Who we roof
Four steps, documented.
Assessment
We inspect the roof, check for trapped moisture and failure points, and give you a straight read: repair, restore, or replace.
Written scope and budget
The system, the specifics and the cost in writing before we start, so there are no change-order surprises.
Scheduled install
We schedule around your operations and keep the building watertight and open through the work.
Warranty and documentation
You get manufacturer and workmanship warranty paperwork and a documented, code-compliant roof.
Commercial roofing, answered
Should I repair, coat, or replace my commercial roof?
It depends on the roof's age, whether there is trapped moisture, and how much service life is left. A repair or a restoration coating can extend a sound roof for years, while a full replacement makes sense once the membrane or deck is failing. We assess it and tell you which one your roof actually needs.
How long does a commercial flat roof last?
It varies by system and maintenance. Single-ply and modified bitumen roofs commonly run in the 15 to 30 year range, and metal systems generally last longer. Regular inspection and prompt repairs are what get you to the top of that range.
Can you work around our business hours?
Yes. We schedule commercial work to minimize disruption and keep the building watertight and open while the roof is being replaced or repaired.
Do you handle commercial roofing in both Oklahoma and Arkansas?
Yes. Husong Roofing Service is licensed in both Oklahoma (OK REG# 80004088) and Arkansas (AR LIC# 0017800414), so we can take commercial work on either side of the state line. Our completed jobs include a medical clinic in Gentry, Arkansas and a dental office in Grove, Oklahoma.
